Greenstripe or Plain Mariposa Lily grows in granitic soils in the coniferous forests at a higher elevation than any other kind of Calochortus found in the San Gabriels.

Programs, Hikes and Nature Walks Schedule
  • Program, third Tuesday of each month at the San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Center in Azusa at 7:00 pm.
  • Program, last Saturday of each month at the San Gabriel Canyon Environmental Education Center at 9 am.
  • Bird Walk, second Sunday at 8 am at the Chilao Visitor Center
